About DEITECH Conference 2020:

Despite efforts to address diversity in technology, less than 5% of careers in high tech are filled by Black professionals, a statistic that has remained for decades.  DEITECH will challenge your status quo, awaken your sense of urgency, and empower you to be a catalyst for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive industry.

In today's hyper-connected environment, it is now more important than ever to re-imagine an organization's pathway to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The technology industry is arguably the world’s most progressive and innovative space. However, in many organizations, DEI remains just a feel-good bullet point. Lack of commitment and accountability continues to keep the promise of DEI from reaching its fullest potential.

By combining compelling content from the top thought-leaders in the DEI space with organizations committed to DEI practices and principles, attendees will receive the education, the strategy, and the network necessary to advance their DEI initiatives in order to close the digital divide.

The topics of the event will be divided into two tracks covering everything from the foundations and fundamentals of DEI to actionable strategies for organizational DEI leaders.

Attendees should expect to receive education on how to enter DEI personally and as an organization, recognize and evaluate corporate cultures that value both individual and cultural contributions, and how to effectively advance their DEI strategies, best practices, and accountabilities.
